On Saturday, April 21st (actually the day before Earth Day), Russ Hefty of the Madison Parks Department will lead volunteers in a shrub-planting effort in the Turville Point conservancy park. The event will start at 9am and run until noon. Volunteers should meet at the Turville parking lot. People can bring their own shovels; there will also be shovels provided by the Parks Department.  Gloves, hats and water would be good 'accessories.'
